  • Aaburco, Inc. discovered many years ago that ½” shafts flex under the pressure of the molds rolling together. This flexing ultimately leads to weakened crimps on the food product resulting in failed seals during cooking. Perhaps one of the most significant improvements employed on the Piemaster™ machine. Note: all of our competitor products use ½” shafting.

  • 3. 3/4” Frame Rods vs. 5/8”

       Advantage:

  • As with the Mold Shafts, the Piemaster’s™ frame rods have been thickened to provide a stable platform.
  • The frame rods are recessed into the end casings again addressing the elimination of food traps.

  • Solid Aluminum Gearing

       Advantage:

  • Our competitors use plastic gearing; certainly a cost savings in manufacturing but we believe it is a liability for our customers. The Piemaster’s™ solid aluminum gears have never failed.

  • Spring Tensioned Swing Arms
